his project has literally been years in development and started with a discussion with Garrett Thomas back in 2018.  As many of you know, Garrett is well known for producing an 8 Ball from his wallet.  I introduced him to my original Delivery System and while he loved it had some concerns about using it for producing a billiard ball due to the weight.  Since that meeting I have been working on a reliable and secure production of a legitimate, standard-size billiard ball from basically anywhere.

While it is possible to use the Delivery System 2.0 to produce a pool ball I felt I could make something better that was exclusively designed for this purpose.  Yes, you can use the DS2.0 for a pool ball production but I wanted something more secure, and sized exclusively for this type of production.  So, I tinkered and tinkered and changed out the magnet system to a magnet and steel bar system as well as re-designed the dimensions.  I couldn't be more excited with how this holdout works.  Just like the original Delivery System and the Delivery System 2.0 the weight of the billiard ball is carried by your belt.  This translates to empty pockets and clothes that hang correctly.  After the production the gimmick practically disappears. 

 

Just like the originals, each one is hand made using the best materials and sewn by momma K.  This is not a project that was rushed to market.  Each holdout is very time consuming to make, and when my head seamstress says she is done making them, they will be retired forever as I can't trust anyone to do a better job than her.

Imagine your spectators reaction when a pool ball falls into their hands or hits the table with a loud thud.  Producing a pool ball has been around for quite some time and is certainly NOT original to me.  Numerous places in magical literature depict the magical production of a billiard ball.   This is not something made to look like an 8 ball or gaffed in any way.  The secret is in the holder and the method for the steal.  While it comes with an authentic United States sized 2.25" billiard ball, you can substitute any other billiard ball if you prefer a different color or number.

What makes SIDE POCKET better than just stealing the ball out of your pocket?  First and foremost, the steal happens from the outside of your shirt or coat.  No digging and fumbling around in your pocket.  Your hands never leave the spectators sight.  Secondly, the weight of the ball is supported by your belt so your clothes hang properly.  Third, the holder all but vanishes completely after the production.  Loaded or empty, you will forget you are wearing it.  Lastly, it works 100% of the time.  Secure when not needed but accessible at a moments notice.
