Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is a modernized version of Dai Vernon's "The trick that can't be explained."  It is a matching prediction effect that uses toy animals instead of the typical cards or coins.

Here's what happens.  Six identical bags are introduced with unknown contents.  Your spectators shuffle and mix the bags.  The bags are eliminated in a fun manner that gets multiple spectators involved.  In the end, one bag is left.  The magician makes the spectators aware of a similar bag in a different color that has been out in plain sight the entire time.  Both bags are opened to show that you predicted what animal would be left.

The beauty of this effect lies in the ability to shift and change methods in the course of the routine.  If you've ever performed "The trick that can't be explained" then you know where I'm heading.

While it is relatively easy-to-do it is also quite fooling for those not in the know.  The carefree handling really creates a powerful impact upon the final reveal.  I even talk about how you can make this same effect play on stage for hundreds of people.

The best part of purchasing Animal Kingdom is that 50% of all the profits of this trick will go to the Houdini Museum and Theatre in Scranton, Pennsylvania for building repairs.  Specifically, to paint a modern, fresh, and innovative mural for the front of the building.

The price is right, the trick is great and it benefits the Houdini Museum.  If you haven't been and are in Scranton, PA be sure to stop by and tell Dick and Dororthy hello!
